You can be gay in FrontierVille

A huge draw of FrontierVille is the Sims-like potential to get married and start a family -- but we were instantly curious how far the game takes life simulation. Today we found out FrontierVille allows gay marriage.

Getting a spouse in the game is no easy thing. There are four or five mini-quests to complete that involve harvesting crops, building various structures, and collecting enough equipment to assemble tools and fancy clothes. Once you've completed the quest, you choose your spouse's gender and appearance in a process identical to your own character creation. The spouse becomes a second playable character on your homestead that uses the same pool of resources (including Energy).
